and he edits Psychic Swamp: The Surregional Review. Surregional

Explorations (2013) by Chicago’s Charles H. Kerr Publishing Company.

Kate Khatib - Occupation to Liberation

Khatib, based in Baltimore, is a co-founder of Red Emma's Bookstore

Coffeehouse and a collective member at AK Press. She is the co-editor,

with Margaret Killjoy and Mike McGuire, of a book on the recent Occupy

Movement, We Are Many: Reflections on Movement Strategy from

Occupation to Liberation.

Cafard and Khatib will read/perform from their current books providing

a startling analysis of the world today: philosophical rants, whimsies,

demolition jobs, and jabs to the mind, a mix of surrealism, anarchism, ecology, Walter Benjamin,

Andre Breton, Guy Debord, and a whole lot more from today’s most brilliant thinkers.
